Call me a coward, but I didn't save him in order to make the hallownest pantheon more manageable. On the first run I believe you should save him because of the dialogues, but when you are aiming 112% or maybe a second playthrough I wouldn’t save him cuz you wouldn’t need to fight him at the pantheons and the achievement. no.
