Was wondering if anyone more learned in the ways of dark souls 2 could recommend a starting class that would help me create a dex/pyro ..., Use the Onyx Blade dropped from Vilhelm in the Ariendel DLC. Base dark damage with a weapon art that buffs it with fire. Longest Greatsword in the game. Practically built specifically for Pyromancers. That covers both fire and dark damage, leaving you free to infuse the Claymore with Lightning for bosses that resist the previous two.
