If Usopp still has them, it doesn't matter because he ain't using them because, to answer you last question, they are useless. Useless. They’re used in Nami’s weapon and his weapon; also impact wolf., Usopp was kinda fucked from the get go tbh. His whole arc is about him becoming a brave warrior, but because Oda measures bravery as acting like Luffy/Zoro and never feeling fear in any situation, it means that even though Usopp is technically being brave by still going on the island, fighting the opponent, etc in spite of his fear, he's always gonna be overshadowed by the majority of the crew., Usopp woke up and the first thing he sees is a smiling Luffy casually saying they are abandoning the ship. There's a good payoff for all of this during Enies Lobby. Once again Usopp was seemingly the weakest link. He was carried by the giants through the battlefield without doing anything, then everybody else fought Cipher Pol members except ..., However, during One Piece's Water 7 Arc, many of Usopp's insecurities and shortcomings finally boil over, resulting in his dramatic departure from the Straw Hat Pirates. Upset about the impending loss of the Going Merry and his own weakness, Usopp challenges Luffy to a fight.
