I took MATH140 at community college at night the summer before my freshman year at UMD. Even though my grades were pretty low (or, so I thought) I pulled out with a B. And I really have a lovely professor who understood that all of us had full time jobs. Office hours before class, homework help after class. It's just arithmetic, algebra 1, algebra 2, and trig in that order. It was just super basic stuff but if you're in doubt, use wolfram alpha. I did poorly on the arithmetic and algebra 1 part though, haha. Also, if you have AP/IB scores they over ride whatever your math placement test puts you in. 2.
