I like the 300 grain jacketed hollow points for hunting. These have some punch reloaded with Hodgdon 322 powder. My favorite plinking loads are also 300 grain, but in lead format with IMR Trailboss., The Marlin Model 39A in 22 s, l or lr caliber. JM stamped of course. It has the 20 inch micro-groove barrel, factory sights including front sight hood, original blue finish, gold trigger, tube magazine and walnut stock and forearm. Condition is very good on this short takedown model with only light signs of handling. , The issue with JM stamping came around in 2009.
