Heritage Rough Rider Light Strike Fix After having some issues with a few light strikes with Stinger and Mini Mag on the Heritage Rough Rider, I decided to l...I am about to pick up a new Heritage Rough Rider 6.5 inch barrel .22 lr & .22 mag revolver in the Civil War display case with a holster. Model number RR22MB6BXHOL I bought it because I wanted an inexpensive copy of an 1873 Peace Maker with a presentation case basically just for display purposes. I would check alignment between the cylinder and the barrel before firing. Pull the hammer to position 2, and spin the cylinder through at least 3 times to ensure it is unloaded, pull the hammer all the way back, and look down the barrel. If alignment is good, you shouldn't have any issues firing the gun. 2. With losts of pressure loosen the two screws on either side of the hammer right aboive the grip area. Hard to do and hard to reach unless the screw driver is thin. Just loosen them. Now turn the gun over. Loosen the thrree on the lower receiver. Got 2 Rough Riders one 6 shot, one 9 shot, both with both cylinders. Both guns shoot very well with no issues.
