The WR starts one push of the button no matter what temp, elevation, or if it's been dropped, whereas I had a lot of carb trouble with my old DRZ in the 3 years I've owned it. i would HIGHLY suggest the lectron carbs. i would even say maybe a 34 36 or 36/38 carb with the elevation changes it will take you about 20 minutes the first time you go out there to change the jetting for the carbs.Lectron Carburetor. Many 2S (single un captivated cable) carbs have a occasional issue of the slide slightly hanging for a second as the rider closes the throttle.My Drz400sm, 2007, DynoJet Jet Kit, FMF exhaust, 3x3 Mod. 38.7/8222 Hp/rpm. 37.81/5795 N*m/rpm. Looks totally proper to me, bone stock is 32 - 34hp to the wheel. Adding stg2 hot cams cams might tip you to 40 Hp. Then an FCR carb would tip you to maybe 43 - 45 Hp. Its realy choked down and can handle up to a 40mm CV carb no problem. It's a *bit richer, but there isn't a dramatic loss of power or anything.
