Chevy traverse traction control problems

Our 2017 Has started doing the exact same thing. Drive at slow speeds, the check engine light flashes, traction control off message across dash. After a few seconds, the check engine light stays on. After a day or so, the light goes off. A week or so later, the issue occurs again. The vehicle has no other operational issues.

The vehicle would also display the engine light for a periods of time in and off then, it cuts out randomly. While the vehicle is running, it would just cut out.
