The new Charles Daly 1911's are decent guns. Problems are mostly mag related. I've had a couple of them. Not in the league with Kimber, Colt or Springfield as Xracer states, But with a little tweeking make a reliable weapon. Their manufacturing quality was inconsistent at best and the guns seemed to have quite a few problems of various kinds.
