Hi Carol, Your rear brake light switch is seeing low battery voltage and is going to fail. The U codes are lost communication with the BCM and or ECM. It is possible with the can bus system for an engine to shut down. I would have a dealer look at this problem. Harley goofed up IMO placing the rear brake switch too close to the front exhaust.
