I was 2cm dilated & 70% effaced at 38 weeks- it did absolutely nothing but cause me extra cramping & back pain lol. Now I’m 38 weeks and still 2cm dilated but 90% effaced. I’ve also lost my mucus plug over a week ago and baby is super low. He’s just going to come whenever he feels like it. I don’t think it can really be predicted.
