I don't know where it was but I got the suggestion of doing this from the internet., I relocated it, i bought a Nissan Maxima Knock sensor and the harness (this is the only one possible as the Xterra's isnt detachable, you will need to splice the Maxima harness with the Xterra one together). My X was knocking big time before with its bad sensor. Now it has no knock, wayyyyy more power, and gas milage somewhat …, V6 3.3L The sensor is located underneath the air intake manifold on top of the engine block.
